About Juergen Buschbaum

Born 1961 in Heidenheim, Germany, Juergen Buschbaum started being creative very young. Having his first exhibition as an artist at the age of 15, he studied Graphic & Arts in Stuttgart, Belgrade and Berlin.

In 1986 he founded the ID-Werbeagentur (Advertising Agency) together with Bernd Kolb in Aalen, working the first time with computer in Desktop Publishing and Multimedia. With the upcoming of the Internet Juergen switched almost completely into the field of Multimedia and digital design, using his skills to create Presentation- and Information-Systems as well as Knowledge Based Training and Education software. He also started creating websites and Internet solutions very early.  

In 2001 he was rewarded with the German Internet Award as a team member of Logeon, one of the first German eCommerce Fulfillment solutions. Moving to Dubai he continued working in Multimedia and Web Design for different clients like Kempinski. He had the idea and designed the well-known logo of the Emirates Palace Abu Dhabi. As the technology of digital photograph became more advanced and higher quality, Juergen focused more and more on Photography. Today he has a rich portfolio of pictures in various styles and techniques, reaching from black & white portraits to high resolution panoramic scenes. Juergen Buschbaum is married to Heidi Steen since more than 10 years and loves travelling and being in the great outdoors. He likes discussions and having a beer with friends. .
